Triple G Challenge
What up G’s!! Let us introduce you to our latest Humboldt Crossfit challenge, “The Triple G” Now, we know some of you are like, huh? But, let us explain. It’s April. We all had a ton of fun during Friday Night Lights (maybe some of us a little too much fun). The motivation from the New Year Challenge has waned. Summer is now around the corner and of course, we all want to look our best whether it be in shorts or bathing suits, shirted or shirtless. In comes The Triple G!
So what is Triple G?
Guts, Glutes, and Goals.
This will be a 40 day high impact challenge. Starting Tax Day April 15th and finishing May 24 the just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
In this challenge, we are going to focus on 3 main ideas.
AKA nutrition. We’re sure you’ve heard, but abs are made in the kitchen. This challenge we will be focusing entirely on MACROS. Consuming the exact amount of macronutrients: protein, carbs, and fats for your body to look and perform it’s best. We are super excited about this one! Why? Because counting macros will teach you so much about the food you are consuming. Another reason, with macros you can choose to drink your beer or margarita….or tequila. You can even eat that cookie. But...the catch? You must make it FIT your MACROS! You will learn to moderate and make choices. We have so much information to share and we know that everybody has so much to benefit from this type of challenge. Best of all, you get to live your life, celebrate that birthday or accomplishment, or go to that BBQ you’ve been planning. Counting macros and learning how to manipulate your diet is sustainable, and sustainability is the key!
This is the physical part. We are going to be offering additional workouts focusing on everybody’s favorite “summer” areas: Glutes, Arms, and Abs. These 3 additional weekly workouts will be done in addition to your normal class workouts and designed to help you look good and bring the PUMP! They will be available exclusively to the Three G’s!
This is REALLY exciting HCF!
We just purchased a new, start of the art IN BODY body scanner, check it out HERE This instrument is the latest and greatest technology in measuring body fat and lean body mass. This baby will measure your baseline at the beginning of the challenge and again at the close of the challenge.
You will receive a printed data sheet with all the information needed for us to calculate your macros and be able to help you identify and track your goals through this challenge.
At the end of the challenge, we will re-test you and you will be able to do a side by side comparison of your pre-challenge numbers! How cool is this?! Check out this second link to see a longer breakdown of the results sheets HERE
So how does it work, you ask?
This 40 day challenge will be $70
That $70 will include:
-2 IN BODY measurements ($50 value alone). One to start, one to end.
-Your personalized macros according to your IN BODY readout. ($75 value)
-3 additional weekly glute, gut, and arm workouts meant to bring the pump! (PRICELESS)
-Dedicated Triple G FB group with tons of nutrition coaching and information, and of course support from your fellow members. (For most challenges this is the biggest motivator and support system)

For all of you folks that love a good competition here's how you can do that.
2 ways to WIN.
1- Highest % body fat lost 1st and 2nd place male and female winners.
2- Highest number of points scored 1st and 2nd place male and female winners
1st place winner in each category gets 1 month of membership paid ($162) + 4 additional IN BODY scans throughout the year ($100)
2nd place winner in each category gets 4 additional IN BODY scans throughout the year ($100)
5 Points per day for 40 days 200 total points available. (Free Shirt for anyone with 190 points or better)
1 point for within +/- 5 grams of Protein
1 point for within +/- 5 grams of Carbs
1 point for within +/- 5 grams of Fat
1 point for eating real food and not processed or man-made food like substances.
1 point for eating equal macro distribution across all meals. Example: if your macros are 150 grams protein, 150 grams carbs, 75 grams fat and you divided that into 3 even meals, each meal would have 50g P, 50g C, 25g F. This is equal macro distribution, you can split your macros down into as many meals as you like. Typically people choose between 3-5 meals per day.
